Part of his iconic series called "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" this artwork showcases the majestic mountain from various locations and weather conditions. In this particular scene, we are transported to Ejiri, a region within the Suruga province. The landscape is beautifully depicted with intricate details and vibrant colors typical of ukiyo-e prints. A gusty wind blows through a marshy area, causing nearby trees to sway vigorously. Snow-capped Mount Fuji stands tall in the distance, dominating the composition and adding a sense of grandeur.
