The Five-Bearded Rockling, also known as the Five-Barbed Rockling or Mustelus Rockling, is easily identified by the five distinct barbels or "beards" located beneath its lower jaw. The Four-Bearded Rockling, on the other hand, gets its name from the four barbels found on each side of its lower jaw.
