The image, estimated to date from circa 1940, transports us back in time to an era of simple pleasures and hard work, when the bonds of family and community were forged in the face of adversity. The Pioneer Woman statue, located in the heart of Ponca City, stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit of the people of Oklahoma and their proud heritage.
