Pedro the dog.

Little as his is, Pedro saved the life of a youth who was being savagely attacked by an infuriated horse.
The animal had knocked the youth down and was kneeling over snd biting him, when Pedro the dog rushed at the horse and held it at bay until assistance arrived.
