Environmentally and ozone friendly, the Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. This image showcases Scene 34 from the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead, a collection of magical texts meant to guide an individual through the afterlife. In this scene, the mummified body is depicted in a sepulchral chamber, guarded by Anubis, the jackal-headed god of mummification and the afterlife, at the left side. Anubis holds the Ankh, the symbol of life, emphasizing the importance of preserving the deceased's life force. At the foot of the mummy, the goddess Isis, the embodiment of motherly love and magic, pays her respects. Isis was believed to protect and nurture the dead, ensuring their transformation into Osiris, the god of the underworld. Nephthys, the sister and consort of Set, is shown at the head of the mummy, symbolizing her role as the goddess of the dead and the protector of mummies. Four children of Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky, are positioned at each corner of the chamber.
