Titled "WORLD WAR I: WOMEN WORKERS" the image showcases the remarkable contribution of women on the American home front in 1917. In this particular scene, we witness a group of determined women welding bomb casings inside an American munitions factory. The artist has added depth and texture to the original photograph by applying oil over it, enhancing its visual impact.
