Beatl is a word that will soon be well known as word china - for Beatl is the name of the wonderful new material that is rapidly replacing china and glass everywhere. Not only for table ware is Beatl used, but for titles, panels, electric fittings and a host of other purposes. Beatl is British made. A synthetic powder (invented by British Cyanides Company). This powder is moulded under heat and pressure to attain the amazing durability, the lovely polished surface and the fascinating translunce which make Beatl so different from all other materials.

The Oath of the Horatii, 1791. According to the Roman historian Livy, the Horatii were three Roman brothers who agreed to fight the Curiatii, three brothers from Alba Longa, during a war between the two cities in the 7th century BC, with the outcome deciding the conflict. Two of the Horatii were killed but the third was able to kill the Curiatii one by one after they became separated while pursuing him.
