Hundreds of people were drenched by heavy rain as they pulled Concorde around an airfield at the end of a rope. They were making a record breaking attempt at raising money for physically and mentally handicapped children. The idea came from the Wickford Rotary Club. The plan is one of the static display aircraft on exhibition at the Duxford, Imperial War Museum. 9th September 1983
