Smart scanner supporters are these children from Birchencliffe Playgroup, who helped boost the proceeds from a coffee morning by filling Smartie tubes with pennies. The coffee morning was held by mum Mrs Sue Haigh at her home in Birchencliffe, and the event also included cake and handicraft stalls. Altogether, the playgroup has presented 80 to our Bodyscanner Appeal. 6th July 1987
