This photograph captures a moment of tender affection between Victoria of Baden, the beloved wife of Gustav V, King of Sweden, and their young son. Victoria, born in 1862 as the eldest daughter of Grand Duke Frederick I of Baden, became the Queen Consort of Sweden upon her marriage to Gustav in 1905.
