In this enchanting photograph, taken at Glamis Castle in Scotland in 1923, we find Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (later Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother) standing beside her mother, the Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne.
