Race winner and new World Champion Jean-Pierre Monsere of Belgium is presented with the rainbow Jjersey at Mallory Park, Leicester.
Monsere, aged 21, was then the second-youngest world champion. Tragically he was killed the next year when he collided with a car during a race.
