Royal Navy Type 23 frigate HMS ST Albans (right) takes up station for replenishment whilst USS Philippine Sea (left) has already commenced replenishing from USNS Tippecanoe (centre).
On Sunday 7th August 2011 HMS St Albans conducted a Replenishment At Sea (RAS) with USNS Tippecanoe (SIC) whilst the latter was already refuelling USS Philippine Sea in the Middle East region.
HMS St Albans is currently deployed for 6 months to the Middle East on Operation Kipion where she will carry out Counter Terrorism, Anti Narcotics and anti piracy operations
