On Sunday 7th August 2011 HMS St Albans conducted a Replenishment At Sea (RAS) with USNS Tippecanoe (SIC) whilst the latter was already refuelling USS Philippine Sea in the Middle East region.
HMS St Albans is currently deployed for 6 months to the Middle East on Operation Kipion where she will carry out Counter Terrorism, Anti Narcotics and anti piracy operations
