Indricotherium
Indricotherium. Artists impression of two male Indricotherium fighting (also known as Baluchitherium). These were extinct mammals that lived during the late Oligocene and early Miocene epoch, 20-30 million years ago. They belong to the same group as the modern-day rhinoceros. These herbivores evolved to become the tallest land mammals that ever existed, measuring up to 8 metres in height from head to toe and weighing an estimated 15, 000 kilograms
