23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print by Michael DeFreitas/Robert Harding captures the Antarctic Dream ship as it navigates through the tumultuous Drake Passage near Cape Horn, Chile. The image showcases the raw power and untamed beauty of nature in motion. In this remote corner of South America, where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans collide, the ocean's rough waves crash against the vessel with incredible force. The splattering water creates a mesmerizing splash that adds a touch of color to this otherwise monochromatic scene. The Antarctic Dream ship appears to be hurrying through these treacherous waters, transporting adventurers on an unforgettable journey to Antarctica. Its presence amidst such vastness emphasizes both its size and vulnerability in comparison to Mother Nature's might. As we gaze at this horizontal composition, we can almost feel the wind whipping our faces and taste the saltiness of sea spray. This photograph transports us into a world far removed from our everyday lives – one filled with adventure, exploration, and awe-inspiring landscapes. Through his lens, DeFreitas/Robert Harding invites us to contemplate humanity's place within nature's grand scheme. It serves as a reminder that even in our modern age of technology and convenience, there are still places untouched by human hands where natural forces reign supreme. This stunning photograph is not just a testament to skilled photography but also an invitation for us all to appreciate Earth's wonders and protect them for future generations.
