23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print from Universal Images Group (UIG) takes us back in time to October 12,1932, in Forest Park, Missouri. The image captures a remarkable sight - a truck convoy making its way down a road with charming buildings adorning the background. As we delve into this snapshot of history, we are transported to an era where trucks were the lifeline of transportation and commerce. The scene exudes an air of adventure and progress as these vehicles traverse through the picturesque forested landscape. One can almost hear the rumble of their engines echoing through the trees. The autumnal hues add warmth to the photograph while hinting at nature's transition. This particular convoy holds significance beyond its visual appeal; it represents resilience and determination during challenging times. In 1932, America was grappling with economic hardships caused by the Great Depression. Yet here stands this impressive fleet, symbolizing hope and perseverance amidst adversity. As our gaze wanders towards those distant buildings on the horizon, we catch glimpses of Fort Sheridan in Illinois – a reminder that this journey stretches far beyond state lines. This photograph encapsulates not only Forest Park's natural beauty but also highlights how interconnected communities were even then. With each passing year since that fateful day in 1932, this print becomes more than just an image frozen in time; it becomes a testament to human spirit and unity as well as a cherished piece of American history preserved by UIG for generations to come
