17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Signor Foresti's Daredevil Attempt Ends in Tragedy - A Glimpse into the Thrilling World of 1920s Racing

EDITORS COMMENTS
. This print captures a heart-stopping moment from the daring world of racing in the 1920s. Signor Foresti, an Italian racing motorist, had set his sights on breaking the world speed record at Pendine. However, fate had other plans for him on that fateful day - his dreams shattered as his powerful car overturned. The image transports us back to a time when adrenaline-fueled pursuits were met with both awe and trepidation. The monochrome tones add a sense of nostalgia, emphasizing the historical significance of this event. It serves as a reminder that even amidst progress and innovation, danger loomed around every corner. In this snapshot frozen in time, we witness not only Foresti's unfortunate crash but also glimpse into an era defined by its thirst for speed and adventure. The roaring twenties was an age where risk-taking was celebrated; it was an era marked by pioneers pushing boundaries and defying limits. As we contemplate this photograph from TopFoto. co. uk, let us remember those who fearlessly pursued their passions despite the risks involved. Signor Foresti may have been injured in this accident, but he will forever be remembered as one of many courageous souls who dared to challenge what seemed impossible during Europe's interwar period.
