Conceptual artwork of human genetic analysis

Human genetic analysis. Conceptual computer artwork of a human passing through a scanning device, representing human genetic analysis for health and medical purposes. Part of a molecule of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) can be seen (blue). DNA carries the genetic code. It contains the instructions necessary to make every living organism. DNA is studied by taking samples from body tissues and fragmenting and arranging the DNA to find the genetic code. This aids the understanding of genetic diseases, such as cystic fibrosis. Also, as each individual has a different DNA code, studies can be used for identifying people in genealogy and forensic science

17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the fascinating world of human genetic analysis. In this conceptual artwork, we witness a human figure passing through a scanning device, representing the cutting-edge technology used for health and medical purposes. The blue hue signifies a fragment of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), which carries the intricate genetic code responsible for every living organism's existence. Scientists study DNA by extracting samples from various body tissues and meticulously arranging them to decipher the genetic code hidden within. This invaluable knowledge aids in understanding complex genetic diseases like cystic fibrosis, paving the way for improved diagnosis and treatment options. Moreover, as each individual possesses a unique DNA code, these studies have far-reaching implications beyond medicine. Genealogy enthusiasts can utilize such research to trace their ancestral roots with precision while forensic scientists employ it to identify individuals involved in criminal investigations. The amalgamation of artistry and science in this conceptual artwork evokes curiosity about our very essence—our genes—and highlights how advancements in biochemistry and biotechnology are revolutionizing our understanding of genetics. With its thought-provoking imagery, this print serves as a reminder that unlocking the secrets encoded within our DNA holds immense potential for both scientific progress and personal discovery.
