FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This haunting print captures the chilling aftermath of a human trafficking camp in the dense jungle near the Thailand border at Bukit Wang Burma in northern Malaysia. The image showcases a close-up view of human bones scattered amidst the leafy plants and soil, serving as a stark reminder of the heinous crimes committed against innocent victims. Taken on May 26,2015, by Damir Sagolj for Reuters Images, this photograph documents Malaysian police forensic teams diligently excavating dozens of suspected victims buried in these clandestine camps. With hoes and shovels in hand, they embark on this grim task to uncover evidence that will expose those responsible for such atrocities. The composition highlights nature's juxtaposition with humanity's darkest deeds. The twisted branches and foliage surrounding the bones symbolize how evil can thrive even within seemingly serene environments. This visual portrayal emphasizes both the resilience of nature and its silent witness to unimaginable horrors. Through creative use of lighting and perspective, Sagolj masterfully captures every detail - from decaying teeth to skeletal remains - evoking an eerie sense of loss and despair. The absence of people further accentuates the desolation felt within these forsaken grounds. This photograph serves as a powerful testament to ongoing efforts against human trafficking while reminding us all that justice must prevail over such grave injustices inflicted upon our fellow humans.
