23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print captured by Tim Wimborne, the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge is beautifully reflected in raindrops on a window. Taken on October 19,2004, during a period of much-needed rainfall over eastern Australia, the image serves as a reminder of both hope and despair. While the bridge's reflection symbolizes resilience and strength, it also highlights the contrasting reality faced by many regions suffering from severe drought. As water supplies reach all-time lows across parts of Australia, this mesmerizing visual encapsulates the significance of every drop that falls from above. The raindrops act as tiny lenses through which we witness nature's delicate dance with urban infrastructure. They magnify not only the architectural grandeur but also serve as poignant reminders of our dependence on water for survival. Wimborne's photograph was part of Reuters' Pictures of the Month collection for October 2004, showcasing his exceptional talent in capturing moments that evoke powerful emotions. This particular image requires no rights clearances or permissions for use, allowing viewers to appreciate its beauty freely. Whether viewed as an artistic masterpiece or a symbolic representation of Australia's struggle with drought and climate change, this photograph stands as a testament to both human ingenuity and nature's relentless force – reminding us to cherish every precious drop while striving towards sustainable solutions for our planet's future.
