23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This evocative photograph captures the intensity and passion of a pivotal moment during the 2017/18 Preston North End (PNE) versus Sunderland football match, held on the 30th of September at Deepdale Stadium. The image, skillfully captured by local photographer Dave Kendall, encapsulates the essence of the beautiful game as two determined teams clash in a bid for supremacy. The scene is set with the lush, green expanse of the pitch, dotted with players in vibrant team colors, locked in a fierce battle for possession. The focus, however, is on the central figure of PNE's Paul Gallagher, who stands tall amidst the chaos, poised to unleash a powerful strike. His determined expression and steely gaze convey the unwavering resolve of the home team, while the intensity in the eyes of the opposing Sunderland player underscores the high stakes of this Championship encounter. The atmosphere in the stadium is palpable, with the roar of the crowd echoing in the background, urging their team forward. The contrasting colors of the supporters' scarves and banners add a vibrant touch to the scene, further emphasizing the rich tapestry of football culture. This photograph not only serves as a testament to the skill, dedication, and passion of the players, but also to the enduring spirit of football and the unbreakable bond between the team and its fans. As the game unfolds, the outcome remains uncertain, but the memories of moments like these are etched in the annals of football history, inspiring generations of supporters to come.
