31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the intense action of the 1970 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch. The image showcases the triumphant Jochen Rindt, driving his Lotus 72-Ford, as he secures first position in this thrilling race. Right behind him is Jack Brabham in his Brabham BT33-Ford, claiming second place with a determined expression on his face. Unfortunately, Jacky Ickx's Ferrari 312B had to retire early from the race despite leading at the start. The photograph also highlights other notable drivers who were part of this exhilarating event. Jackie Oliver and his BRM P153 retired from the race while Denny Hulme showcased impressive skill by securing third position in his McLaren M14D-Ford. Clay Regazzoni, driving a Ferrari 312B, can be seen closely following Hulme as he claims fourth place. Taken on July 18th, 1970, this medium format transparency perfectly encapsulates the excitement and competitive spirit that defined this historic Grand Prix. The image serves as a reminder of an era when these legendary drivers pushed their limits and battled for glory on iconic tracks like Brands Hatch. With its rich history and incredible detail captured by LAT Photographic's world-class photographers, this print is a must-have for any motorsport enthusiast or collector seeking to relive one of Formula One's most memorable races.
