17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this black and white portrait captured during the German Grand Prix in 1970, we witness the unsung heroes of Formula One racing. Lynne Oliver, wife of renowned British driver Jackie Oliver, takes center stage as she diligently tends to the crucial task of timekeeping in the pit lane. With an air of focused determination on her face, Lynne's presence exudes a sense of grace and poise amidst the high-octane atmosphere. As a key figure behind-the-scenes, Lynne plays an integral role in ensuring that every second counts for her husband and his team. Her watchful gaze reflects not only her commitment to precision but also her unwavering support for Jackie's pursuit of glory on the racetrack. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder that motorsport is not solely about drivers pushing their limits; it is also about those who work tirelessly behind closed doors to make each race possible. It captures a moment frozen in time where dedication meets love - where passion intertwines with responsibility. The image transports us back to an era when Formula One was still evolving into what it is today – raw, exhilarating, and full of untamed energy. It encapsulates both the essence of racing history and celebrates individuals like Lynne Oliver whose contributions often go unnoticed but are undeniably invaluable
