17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In the electric atmosphere of The Den on August 13,2011, Millwall Football Club welcomed a new opponent and a familiar face to the Npower Football League Championship. Nottingham Forest, led by their manager Steve McClaren, were about to face the Lions in their first league encounter of the season. As the teams prepared to take the field, Millwall's legendary mascot, Zampa the Lion, made his grand entrance. With a proud roar, Zampa strutted out from the tunnel, his gold and blue mane flowing in the excitement of the moment. The Den erupted in a cacophony of cheers as the loyal fans recognized their iconic symbol of pride and strength. Steve McClaren, a former manager of the Lions, was no stranger to the Den. Having led Millwall to promotion from League One in the 2000-2001 season, he was now back with a new challenge. As Zampa approached, McClaren extended a hand in greeting, acknowledging the respect and admiration shared between him and the Millwall faithful. The image captures a moment of history, as two powerful symbols - Zampa the Lion and Steve McClaren - come together in the heart of The Den. The anticipation of the match is palpable, as both teams prepare to battle it out on the pitch. This photograph serves as a testament to the passion and tradition that defines Millwall Football Club and the Npower Football League Championship. Adam Davy's lens brilliantly captures the essence of this encounter, immortalizing the moment when Zampa the Lion welcomed Steve McClaren back to The Den. This photograph is a reminder of the rich history and enduring spirit that fuels the beautiful game.
