17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this evocative photograph, the intensity and focus of Leicester City Football Club's Keith Weller are palpable as he prepares to take a corner kick during a fiercely contested match against Millwall Football Club. The image, captured by the renowned sports photography agency PA, transports us back to a bygone era of football, where passion and determination were the driving forces behind every play. Weller, a versatile midfielder, was a key player for Leicester City during the late 1960s and early 1970s. His tenacity and skill on the pitch earned him the admiration of fans and respect from opponents alike. In this moment, as he positions the ball for the corner, we can see the concentration etched on his face, the determination in his stance, and the unwavering focus in his eyes. The photograph also serves as a reminder of the rich history of football in England and the passion that has fueled the sport for generations. The stark contrast between the pristine white of Weller's Leicester City jersey and the dark, muddy pitch underscores the physical demands of the game and the grit and determination required to succeed. As we gaze at this image, we are transported back to a time when football was more than just a commercial enterprise. It was a source of pride, a means of escape, and a way for communities to come together and share in the thrill of the game. And at the heart of it all was a player like Keith Weller, giving his all for the love of the game and the fans who cheered him on.
