1962 House Golf

23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print from Memory Lane Prints, we catch a glimpse of the legendary Sean Connery indulging in one of his favorite pastimes - golf. The year is 1962, and Connery can be seen confidently swinging his club on a picturesque golf course near his new residence in Acton. What makes this image even more intriguing is the backstory behind Connery's house. Once a Convent, it seems that not everyone has caught wind of its transformation. Even to this day, the suave actor finds himself fielding calls intended for the religious establishment that once stood there. The photograph beautifully captures Connery's relaxed demeanor as he navigates through lush green fairways and meticulously designed bunkers. With each swing, he exudes an air of effortless grace and precision - qualities that have undoubtedly contributed to his success both on-screen and off. As we delve into this snapshot frozen in time, we are transported back to the vibrant era of the 1960s when Connery was at the height of his career. Renowned for portraying iconic characters such as James Bond, he became synonymous with charm, sophistication, and adventure. Alisdair MacDonald skillfully immortalizes this moment through his lens; every detail carefully preserved within the frame. This print serves as a testament to both Sean Connery's passion for golf and his ability to captivate audiences worldwide with his magnetic presence on screen.
