Barbers Cutting Hair Hairdresser Salon Sheep Dog 1973
23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this print from Memory Lane Prints, we are transported back to the groovy era of the 1970s. The image captures a heartwarming scene in a bustling barbershop, where an unexpected visitor has stolen everyone's attention - a magnificent sheepdog! With its long and flowing mane, the furry friend seems determined to avoid any hair trimming. The vibrant colors and vintage aesthetics instantly transport us to a time when barbershops were not just places for grooming but also social hubs filled with laughter and camaraderie. Amidst the buzz of clippers and conversations, this loyal companion stands out as an embodiment of individuality and rebellion against societal norms. Circa 1973 was undoubtedly an era defined by counterculture movements that challenged traditional values. This photograph perfectly encapsulates that spirit through its portrayal of both human expression and animal companionship. The dog's refusal to conform symbolizes freedom of self-expression while highlighting our deep connection with our four-legged friends. As we admire this timeless moment frozen in history, let us reflect on how even pets can become icons of resistance against conformity. This charming snapshot reminds us that sometimes it is okay to break free from expectations and embrace our uniqueness – just like Barberslong-haired pal did all those years ago in that lively salon setting.
