23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print titled "Ken Dodd at a Liverpool Police Station. 7th June 1979" we are transported back to the vibrant era of the 1970s. Renowned comedian Ken Dodd, known for his infectious laughter and quick wit, finds himself in an unexpected setting - a Liverpool police station. Taken on that fateful day in June, the image captures Dodd's larger-than-life personality as he effortlessly commands attention with his trademark feather duster held high above his head. With a mischievous glint in his eye and donning a flamboyant hat, he brings an air of levity to what is typically considered a serious environment. The juxtaposition between the jovial entertainer and the stern-faced policemen behind him creates an intriguing contrast, highlighting both the power of comedy to transcend boundaries and Dodd's ability to bring joy even in unlikely circumstances. This photograph serves as a reminder of how entertainment can bridge gaps between different walks of life, uniting people through shared moments of laughter. It immortalizes not only Ken Dodd but also captures a snapshot of British culture during that time period. As we gaze upon this nostalgic piece from Memory Lane Prints' collection, it evokes memories of simpler times when comedians like Ken Dodd could captivate audiences with their unique brand of humor while simultaneously challenging societal norms – all within the confines of a humble police station on that memorable day in 1979.
