23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this nostalgic print from the 1990s, we see teacher Ron Pickles bravely soaking up sponsorship as he is bombarded with sponges thrown by his mischievous pupils. Standing in front of him are Lucy Heyhoe, Sian Badham, and Rosanan James, each armed with a sponge ready to make a splash. The image captures the joyous atmosphere of Rastrick High School's Sponsor Week, where Mr. Pickles and his courageous colleagues Ronnie Whale and Peter Radley willingly endured the deluge for a good cause. The aim of this spirited event was twofold: to raise £3,000 for the school's minibus running costs and also donate money to several local charities. As laughter fills the air and water flies through the frame, it is evident that everyone involved is having an absolute blast while contributing towards these noble goals. This heartwarming snapshot showcases children actively participating in fundraising activities while enjoying themselves immensely. It serves as a reminder of how communities can come together to support their schools and give back to those in need. Soaking sponges may have drenched Teacher Ron Pickles on that memorable day in October 1991, but it was all worth it for the greater good. Preserved by Memory Lane Prints staff members who understand its sentimental value beyond any commercial use limitations or affiliations mentioned earlier; this photograph encapsulates an era filled with innocence, fun-filled games, wet surprises - all united under one purpose: making a
