23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

A Heartwarming Gesture - Holmfirth High School Friends Raise Funds for RSPCA

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this nostalgic print from the 1990s, we witness a remarkable act of kindness and compassion by eight friends from Holmfirth High School. Organizing a pet show with unwavering determination, these young individuals managed to raise an impressive sum of over £86 for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). Captured in this heartwarming moment is Mrs. Shirley Smith, a representative from the RSPCA, graciously accepting the hard-earned money presented by these dedicated students. Standing alongside her are Claire Lindley, Sarah Williams, Sarah King, Nicola Thompson, Samantha Mulligan, Hannah Morrison at the back row while Victoria Whale and Julie Rogerson take their place at the front. The pet show attracted around 70 attendees who brought along their beloved pets ranging from adorable stick insects to loyal dogs. The event took place behind the Cricketers Arms at Deanhouse and served as a delightful gathering that not only showcased different animal companions but also fostered a sense of community spirit. This snapshot serves as a reminder of how even in our younger years we can make significant contributions towards charitable causes. It highlights the power of friendship and unity in making positive changes within our society. As we cherish this memory captured by Huddersfield Examiner Archive's Memory Lane Prints collection, let us be inspired by these compassionate youngsters who selflessly worked together to
