17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print from Memory Lane Prints, we are transported back to the 1980s, witnessing a pivotal moment in women's hockey history. Durham, known for their unbeaten record in the NatWest Women's County Hockey Championship, faced a formidable challenge against Yorkshire at Gateshead. Unfortunately, fate had other plans as Durham lost their undefeated status with a resounding 4-0 defeat. However, just days before this setback, Durham showcased their indomitable spirit and skill on the field. Dot Anderson's goal secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Northumberland on Saturday. The team then continued their winning streak by triumphing over Cumbria with goals from Chris Fisher and Jo Morrell in a thrilling 2-1 encounter. This photograph captures the essence of camaraderie and determination within the team. Posed together with beaming smiles and sporting their distinctive uniforms and hockey sticks, these talented women exude confidence and passion for the sport they love. The significance of this image lies not only in its representation of an era but also in celebrating the achievements of female athletes during that time. It serves as a reminder that even though records may be broken or victories may elude us at times, it is through perseverance and unity that true success is achieved. As we admire this snapshot frozen in time, let us applaud these remarkable women who paved the way for future generations of female athletes while leaving an indelible mark on women's hockey history.
