17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print takes us back to the vibrant Iron Masters District in Middlesbrough, on a sunny day in July 1979. The focal point of this image is undoubtedly the majestic Tees Transporter Bridge, standing tall and proud in the background. Its iconic structure serves as a testament to the industrial prowess that once defined this bustling town. As we gaze upon this snapshot from the past, our eyes are drawn to the intricate details of Middlesbrough's urban landscape. Towering cranes dotting the skyline remind us of the city's rich history as an industrial hub, while sturdy buildings and structures stand as silent witnesses to its enduring legacy. However, amidst all these man-made marvels lies an unexpected surprise – a whimsical triceratops sculpture playfully placed within this concrete jungle. This delightful addition adds a touch of charm and intrigue to an otherwise gritty scene. The photograph itself exudes nostalgia with its slightly faded hues and vintage aesthetic. It transports us back to an era when Middlesbrough was at its prime, showcasing both its architectural grandeur and artistic flair. Preserved by Teesside Archive through their Memory Lane Prints collection, this image serves as a visual time capsule for future generations. It captures not only a specific moment in history but also encapsulates the spirit and character of Middlesbrough during that period. Whether you have personal ties to Middlesbrough or simply appreciate artful glimpses into bygone eras, this print offers
