23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we are transported back to the 1970s, precisely on the 20th of July in 1974. The iconic Anfield stadium serves as the backdrop for a significant moment in Liverpool Football Club's history. Standing proudly on the terraces is none other than Bob Paisley, who had just taken over as manager from the legendary Bill Shankly. The image exudes an air of determination and anticipation as Paisley assumes his new role at one of England's most renowned football clubs. Surrounded by passionate fans clad in their team colors, he appears deep in thought, perhaps contemplating strategies to lead Liverpool FC to further glory. This snapshot captures not only a specific time but also reflects an era when men dominated managerial positions within football clubs. It symbolizes a period when office spaces were often filled with telephone conversations discussing tactics and transfers rather than computer screens and emails. Published by Sunday People under their Memory Lane Prints collection, this photograph offers us a glimpse into the past while celebrating both sport and nostalgia. It reminds us of Bob Paisley's immense contribution to Liverpool FC's success during his tenure as manager - six league titles and three European Cups - cementing his status as one of English football's greatest managers. Whether you're a devoted fan or simply appreciate sporting history, this evocative print will transport you back to that pivotal moment when Bob Paisley took charge at Anfield amidst roaring cheers from loyal supporters.
