17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming photo print, taken by Gavin Kent, we see the compassionate Diana, Princess of Wales visiting a children's ward at the Royal Brompton Hospital in West London. The purpose of her visit was to shed light on cystic fibrosis week and bring attention to this debilitating disease. Seated on her lap is ten-month-old Sharma Salim, a brave victim of cystic fibrosis. Despite the challenges she faced herself, Princess Diana emanates warmth and tenderness as she interacts with little Sharma. Her genuine care for others shines through in every gesture. Dressed elegantly in a powder blue Versace suit, the princess looks radiant and tanned from her recent holiday in Barbuda. However, it is clear that her focus lies solely on bringing joy and comfort to these young patients battling illness. This snapshot captures an extraordinary moment where royalty meets vulnerability; where power meets compassion. It serves as a reminder of Princess Diana's unwavering dedication to those less fortunate and showcases her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Gavin Kent's photograph immortalizes this touching encounter between one of history's most beloved figures and an innocent child fighting against adversity. It stands as a testament to both the princess's legacy as well as the resilience and strength exhibited by those affected by cystic fibrosis during that time period in the 1990s.
