23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming print titled "Pinkie the Guinea Pig and Perky the Kitten September 1978" we are transported back to a charming pet shop in Tottenham, London. Owned by George Finnett, this quaint store was a haven for animal lovers seeking companionship and joy. The image captures an unlikely friendship between Pinkie, the adorable guinea pig, and Perky, the mischievous kitten. Their expressions speak volumes as they sit side by side on a shelf surrounded by various trinkets and toys. Pinkie's tiny size contrasts with Perky's playful energy, creating an endearing visual contrast. Both animals seem to be sharing a secret joke or enjoying a funny moment together. Perhaps it was something about their tea party setup that tickled their furry hearts! A small teapot sits nearby, adding an element of whimsy to this already delightful scene. This photograph perfectly encapsulates the essence of friendship transcending boundaries – whether it be species or size differences. It reminds us that true connections can form between even the most unexpected pairs. Arthur Sidey's skillful capture freezes this precious memory from September 1978 in time forever. As we gaze upon this print from Memory Lane Prints, we can't help but smile at these two adorable creatures who found solace and happiness in each other's company amidst the hustle and bustle of city life.
