17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming snapshot captured in July 1977 at Lambton Pleasure Park, we witness an enchanting encounter between a young boy and a 12-week-old lion cub named Khan. The image beautifully showcases the innocence and curiosity shared between these two unlikely friends. As the boy gingerly reaches out to pet Khan's soft fur, it becomes evident that not all big cats are as fearsome as they may seem. The photograph transports us back to the carefree days of the 1970s when such magical moments were still possible. It serves as a reminder that even in our modern world, where wildlife encounters are rare, there is still room for genuine connections with nature's most majestic creatures. Khan, with his adorable charm and playful demeanor, represents the epitome of cuteness. His innocent eyes exude trust and affection towards his human companion. This extraordinary bond formed between a wild animal and a child speaks volumes about our innate connection to the natural world. As we gaze upon this print from Memory Lane Prints by NCJ, we cannot help but feel captivated by its timeless beauty. It reminds us that beyond their ferocious reputation lies an untamed grace that can touch our hearts in ways unimaginable. Let this charming image serve as a testament to the power of love and friendship across species boundaries – reminding us all that sometimes courage comes in cuddly packages too!
