23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we witness the fusion of elegance and strength as Miss World prepares to don a crown of steel with a matching cape. Mecca Promotions had an ingenious idea to collaborate with the British Steel Corporation for this year's Miss World Contest, held at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on December 1st. The visionary behind this remarkable creation is none other than Ann Marie Shillito, a talented designer who earned recognition as a young prodigy two years ago. The photograph captures the essence of the 1970s beauty contest scene, where grace and glamour reigned supreme. As our eyes are drawn towards Miss World's regal ensemble, we can't help but marvel at how stainless steel has been transformed into something so delicate yet unyielding. The intricate craftsmanship shines through every detail of her crown, cape, and orb. This image serves as a testament to human ingenuity and creativity in fashion design. It reminds us that even seemingly incompatible elements can be harmoniously blended together to create something truly extraordinary. Beyond its aesthetic appeal lies a deeper symbolism – one that represents resilience and determination amidst challenges faced by women around the world. As we delve into Memory Lane Prints' vast collection, let us appreciate not only the beauty queens captured within these photographs but also their ability to inspire generations through their style choices and empowering presence on stage.
