31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming print from Memory Lane Prints, we are transported back to June 1980 at an animal charity re-homing centre. The image captures one of the dedicated kennel maids, her face filled with compassion and love for animals. She stands amidst a basket full of unwanted and unloved puppies, each looking up at her with hopeful eyes. The scene evokes a mix of emotions - sadness for these innocent creatures who have been abandoned, but also admiration for the woman's unwavering commitment to their well-being. It is evident that she plays a crucial role in providing comfort and care to these vulnerable beings. The charm of the 1980s is reflected in the vintage aesthetic of the photograph itself. The grainy texture adds depth and nostalgia, reminding us of simpler times when acts of kindness like this were captured on film rather than through digital lenses. This image serves as a reminder that there are countless unsung heroes working tirelessly behind-the-scenes in animal charities around the world. Their selflessness shines through as they strive to give voiceless creatures a second chance at life and love. As we gaze upon this snapshot frozen in time, let it inspire us to support such noble causes today – whether by adopting or fostering animals ourselves or contributing our time and resources towards organizations dedicated to their welfare.
