23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This stunning photograph captures the majestic White Star Liner Titanic as it sets sail on its maiden voyage on April 10, 1912. The Titanic, a testament to human engineering and innovation, was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner of its time. With a length of 882 feet and a beam of 92 feet, it was a marvel of modern technology. The Titanic was the flagship of the White Star Line and was intended to provide luxury and comfort to its first-class passengers, who paid top dollar for the privilege of traveling in opulence. The ship was equipped with the latest amenities, including a swimming pool, Turkish bath, and a grand staircase that spanned three decks. However, the Titanic's maiden voyage would end in tragedy when it collided with an iceberg on April 14, 1912. The impact caused the ship to sink, resulting in the loss of over 1,500 lives. The disaster led to significant changes in maritime safety regulations and ushered in a new era of safety measures, including the requirement for ships to carry enough lifeboats for all passengers and crew. This photograph is a poignant reminder of the Titanic's brief but memorable history. It captures the beauty and grandeur of the ship in its prime, before the unimaginable happened. The Titanic's story is one of human ambition, innovation, and ultimately, the fragility of life. This image is a valuable historical document that transports us back in time, allowing us to marvel at the Titanic's majesty and to reflect on the lessons learned from its tragic end.
