23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

1. Title: "A Glimpse into the Past: The Tranquil Village of Farningham, Kent, England, in the 1910s" The photograph captures the picturesque and serene village of Farningham, nestled near Swanley in Kent, England, during the 1910s. The image transports us back in time, allowing us to witness the charm and simplicity of rural life in early 20th-century England. The quaint cottages, with their red-tiled roofs and whitewashed walls, exude a sense of warmth and homeliness. The cobblestone streets, lined with trees, add to the idyllic atmosphere, while the horse-drawn carts and carriages suggest a time before motorized vehicles became commonplace. In the foreground, a group of children can be seen playing, their laughter echoing through the village. The scene is a testament to the close-knit community that once thrived in Farningham. The village green, with its tall, mature trees and open spaces, serves as a communal gathering place for the residents. The River Darent, meandering through the village, adds to the natural beauty of the area. The watermill, located on the riverbank, is a reminder of the importance of waterpower in the rural economy of the time. The photograph offers a glimpse into the past, allowing us to appreciate the history and traditions of a bygone era. The tranquil village of Farningham, with its charming cottages, close-knit community, and natural beauty, remains a cherished piece of England's rural heritage.
