17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
1. Title: "A Blast from the Past: The 1920s Charm of Port Isaac's Cobbled Streets, Cornwall" Step back in time with this photograph of Port Isaac's quaint and narrow streets, as they appeared in the 1920s. Located near the picturesque town of Wadebridge in Cornwall, England, this historic fishing village has retained much of its traditional character, making it a popular tourist destination. The cobblestones underfoot, worn smooth by the passage of time and the elements, bear testament to the village's rich history. The quaint cottages, adorned with colorful flowers and hanging baskets, exude a sense of warmth and welcoming hospitality. Fishing boats, a staple of Port Isaac's economy, can be seen nestled along the waterfront, their sails rolled up and ready for the next voyage. The 1920s were a period of significant change in Britain, with the roaring twenties bringing about a sense of excitement and prosperity. Yet, in Port Isaac, life continued much as it had for generations, with the daily rhythms of fishing and farming shaping the community. This photograph offers a glimpse into a bygone era, inviting us to imagine the stories and memories that unfolded on these very streets. The rolling hills and rugged coastline of Cornwall have long inspired artists, writers, and visitors alike. Port Isaac, with its charming streets and scenic beauty, is no exception. This photograph serves as a reminder of the enduring allure of this historic fishing village and the timeless charm of rural England. As we admire the image, we are transported back to a simpler time, where the beauty of nature and the strength of community were the constants in the ever-changing world. The 1920s may be long gone, but the magic of Port Isaac remains, waiting to be discovered by those who seek a glimpse into the past.
