23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This sculpture captures the young and prodigious Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) as a child, showcasing his innate talent for music through his devoted practice on the violin. Sculpted by the skilled French artist Louis-Ernest Barrias (1841-1905), this marble masterpiece is a testament to the extraordinary musical abilities that Mozart exhibited from an early age. Mozart, an Austrian composer of the Classical era, began his musical education under his father's tutelage at the tender age of five. By the age of six, he had already composed his first minuet and by eight, he had written his first symphony. This sculpture, created in the late 19th century, captures the essence of Mozart's childhood, with its intricate frills and ornate interior details reflecting the opulence of the era. The statue is now part of the esteemed collection at the Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. It serves as a reminder of Mozart's remarkable musical legacy and his status as one of the most influential composers in Western classical music history. The statue's serene expression and the delicate curves of the violin convey a sense of deep concentration and dedication, making it a must-see for any art or music enthusiast. Barrias's masterful depiction of Mozart as a child playing the violin is a beautiful representation of the composer's early musical journey and the passion that fueled his groundbreaking contributions to the world of music. This sculpture stands as a timeless tribute to the enduring power of music and the boundless potential of a child's creativity.
