Conversation Dispute Master Pack Refusing

17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This evocative image captures a moment of deep contemplation and potential disagreement between a soldier and his trusted steed during the late 19th century. The soldier, with a weathered face and a full white beard, is dressed in his military uniform complete with helmet and carrying a pack. His horse, equally as steadfast, gazes back at him with a look of unyielding determination. The reins are taut in the soldier's hand, and the horse's ears are pricked forward, both indicating a heightened sense of awareness and tension. The historical context of this photograph is unclear, but the setting suggests a remote and rugged terrain, possibly a military outpost or camp. The soldier's intense gaze and the horse's unwavering stare suggest a deep bond between the two, yet the body language and facial expressions hint at a dispute or disagreement. It is unclear what could be causing the tension, but it is evident that both the soldier and his horse are deeply invested in the outcome of their conversation or dispute. This photograph offers a glimpse into the complex relationship between soldiers and their horses during this era. Horses were essential companions for soldiers, providing transportation, support, and companionship in the field. The bond between soldier and horse was often a deep and unbreakable one, built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. This photograph captures the depth of that bond and the complexity of the human-animal relationship during a time of military history when horses played a crucial role in warfare and exploration.
