31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Conwy Harbour, North Wales: A Timeless Scene of Tranquility and Industry (1959) This evocative black-and-white photograph captures the atmospheric beauty of Conwy Harbour in North Wales, as the sun begins to set over the Irish Sea. Taken by Norman Synge Waller Budd in 1960, the image showcases the picturesque quay side, where the silhouette of Conwy Castle looms in the background. The castle's ancient towers and ramparts, shrouded in mist, add an air of mystery and history to the scene. The quay is bustling with activity, as fishermen prepare their nets and boats for the evening tide. A lone fisherman, dressed in a worn coat and hat, sits on the quay, contemplating the day's catch. The suspension bridge, connecting the town to the other side of the river, adds a modern touch to the otherwise traditional scene. The low-lying mist clings to the muddy quay, creating a sense of stillness and calm. The boats, moored along the quay, are a testament to the area's rich maritime heritage. The dull, grey light casts an ethereal glow over the scene, making it a truly captivating and timeless moment in the history of Conwy Harbour. This photograph, taken in 1959, is a reminder of the enduring charm and beauty of Wales' North Coast. The image, from the Norman Synge Waller Budd Collection at Mary Evans Prints Online, is a must-have for anyone who appreciates the natural beauty and history of this enchanting region.
