17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this image, a Boeing B-52H Stratofortress strategic bomber soars through the sky, carrying the formidable North American GAM-77 Hound Dog air-to-ground missiles. The B-52H, a versatile and enduring military aircraft, is renowned for its ability to transport and deploy various types of weapons, including these nuclear-capable missiles. The B-52H Stratofortress, a variant of the iconic B-52 bomber, first entered service in 1961, and has since become a cornerstone of the United States' strategic arsenal. Its distinctive wing design and powerful engines enable it to fly at high altitudes and long ranges, making it an ideal platform for delivering heavy payloads to targets thousands of miles away. The North American GAM-77 Hound Dog missiles, visible in the bomb bay of the B-52H, are air-to-ground missiles designed for tactical and strategic strikes. Each missile carries a nuclear warhead, capable of delivering devastating destruction to enemy targets. The Hound Dog missiles were first deployed in the late 1950s and remained in service until the 1990s, when they were replaced by more advanced weapons systems. This photograph captures a moment in time when the power and capability of aerial warfare are on full display. The Boeing B-52H Stratofortress and North American GAM-77 Hound Dog missiles represent the pinnacle of military technology and innovation, showcasing the incredible advancements in aviation and weaponry that have shaped the course of history.
