23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Celebrating a Quarter Century of Reign: A Vision of Grace and Joy - Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee (1977) In this enchanting photograph from the Illustrated London News Ltd/Mary Evans collection, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, resplendent in a radiant pink ensemble, beams with warmth and delight as she engages in a royal walkabout amidst the jubilant crowds of London. The year was 1977, and Queen Elizabeth II was celebrating her Silver Jubilee, marking twenty-five years on the British throne. The Queen's regal bearing and infectious smile captivate the onlookers, who eagerly reach out to touch her hand or share a few words with their monarch. The atmosphere is one of unity and joy, as the people of the United Kingdom come together to honor their beloved Queen and celebrate the milestone anniversary of her reign. The vibrant colors of the scene are a testament to the joyous occasion, with the Queen's pink attire perfectly complementing the red, white, and blue of the Union Jack flags that flutter in the breeze. The image is a poignant reminder of the enduring bond between the monarchy and the people, and the power of a smile to bring people together in celebration. This evocative portrait, taken during a time of national pride and unity, is a cherished reminder of Queen Elizabeth II's unwavering commitment to her role as monarch and the love and admiration she continues to inspire in her subjects.
