FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph showcases the intricately decorated Ptolemaic temple of Hathor and Maat at Deir el-Medina in Egypt. Dating back to the ancient Lagid Dynasty, this temple is a testament to the rich cultural heritage and religious practices of the region during the Ptolemaic era. The central figure in the image is a young man, dressed in the attire of the time, who is flanked by two deities: Hathor and Maat. Hathor, the goddess of love, music, and fertility, is depicted with the horns of a cow and solar disc on her head. Maat, the goddess of truth, justice, and order, is represented with an ostrich feather headdress. The polychrome reliefs that adorn the interior of the temple add a vibrant and dynamic element to the already impressive structure. The use of bright colors and intricate details in the carvings showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of the ancient artists. The male figure's position between the two deities suggests a ritualistic or mythological significance, possibly representing the connection between the human world and the divine realm. The ostrich feathers worn by Maat are a symbol of purity and the balance she maintains between the forces of chaos and order. This photograph offers a unique perspective into the history and religious practices of ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic era, providing a glimpse into a time long past and a culture steeped in mythology and tradition.
