23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this enchanting photograph, Princesses Theodora, Cecile, and Margarita of Greece pose for the camera in the early 1910s. The three eldest daughters of Prince Andrew of Greece and Princess Alice of Battenberg are captured in their childhood innocence, each with a unique and captivating expression. Princess Theodora, the eldest, is on the left, her dark eyes gazing intently at the viewer. She would later marry Prince Friedrich II of Baden and become Margravine of Baden. In the middle is Princess Cecile, with her fair complexion and a sweet smile playing on her lips. She would grow up to marry Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hesse and by Rhine. The youngest, Princess Margarita, is on the right, her gaze directed downwards, her dark curls framing her delicate features. She would later marry Prince Friedrich Karl of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. The sisters share a strong bond, their Greek heritage, and their connection to their parents, who were first cousins of King George V of the United Kingdom. Their brother, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, would go on to marry Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom in 1947. This photograph offers a glimpse into the childhood of these royal sisters, their happiness and innocence, and the promise of the lives they would later lead as princesses in their own right. The image is a testament to their shared history and the enduring legacy of the Greek royal family.
