31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Digging for Ants Date: 1948" is a delightful and humorous photograph that captures the playful interaction between two animals, an aardvark and a monkey, as they engage in an ant-digging competition. The image, taken by renowned photographer Feodor Rojankovsky, is filled with themes of animals, comedy, and celebrations. The aardvark, a nocturnal, elongated mammal known for its distinctive snout and powerful digging abilities, is shown in full focus, intently digging in the sand with a shovel. The monkey, on the other hand, is perched on a bucket, holding a shovel of his own, with a mischievous grin on his face. The moon, partially visible in the background, adds to the sense of occasion and the holiday atmosphere. The sentiment of the photograph is one of humor and lightheartedness. The animals' determination to catch as many ants as possible is a common theme in many celebrations and holidays, making this image a perfect representation of the joy and excitement that comes with such occasions. The humorous contrast between the serious aardvark and the playful monkey adds to the overall appeal of the photograph. This photograph is a reminder of the simple pleasures in life and the bond that can be formed between the most unlikely of creatures. It is a timeless image that continues to bring a smile to the faces of viewers, making it a cherished addition to any collection of animal photographs.
