23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Basking in the golden glow of the setting sun, the Bronze Fisherman of Port William stands as a testament to the enduring connection between man and the sea. Located in the picturesque town of Port William, in the heart of Wigtownshire, Dumfries and Galloway, SW Scotland, this evocative sculpture by renowned Scottish artist Andrew Brown overlooks the tranquil waters of Luce Bay on the Irish Sea. The figure of the fisherman, with his weathered face and worn, time-honored expression, seems to embody the spirit of the rugged coastline and the rich maritime history of the region. The intricate details of his clothing and fishing gear, meticulously crafted in bronze, add depth and authenticity to the piece. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm, amber light over the landscape, the fisherman gazes out to sea, perhaps reflecting on a day's work well done or contemplating the mysteries of the deep. The play of light and shadow on the statue's surface adds an ethereal quality to the scene, making it a truly breathtaking sight to behold. The Bronze Fisherman of Port William is more than just a work of art; it is a symbol of the enduring bond between the people of this region and the sea that has shaped their lives for generations. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to this beautiful corner of Scotland, a visit to this statue is a must-see experience, offering a moment of tranquility and reflection amidst the natural beauty of Luce Bay.
